Yea, I'm uber late, but I'm watching his memorial now, so I figure now is good a time as any.

You never really realize what you lose until it's gone do you? I'v always listened to MJ's music off and on, but it wasn't until he died that I finally see how great he really was, is. It is a fact that he was the greatest musician who ever walked the planet, no one's ever going to surpass him.

I'm making myself sadder now.. :[. He was just one of those people that you always heard about, that you knew was great and that you thought was going to stick around for a long time. It's a damn shame I wasn't alive in the 80's when his popularity was at his highest, because then I wouldn't have to hear all the bullshit people spew about him now.

Those court cases about him molesting little kids always seemed way off to me. Back then I didn't give it much thought, but seeing all these tributes to him now and watching his videos and basically learning his life story just set my mind at ease about him. He loved little kids, and he was far too innocent and cared too much to do anything that would ruin their lives.

A lot of people are probably thinking i don't understand, but I think I do now. He was the best, and will remain the best. Though he's dead, MJ will always be alive to me, whether as a smooth criminal or a zombie in his awesometastic thriller video, he will always be alive.

I think im just still in the denial stages though.
